I am a writer, a mother, a wife, a friend, a worker bee in an insurance corporation, and least of all a woman. I work because I have to, write because I want to. I'm a woman because I was born with the parts and I shed one and three quarter tears at anything remotely sentimental.
Motherhood has been my biggest challenge and my most worthwhile endeavor. It also reminds me of my womanhood because I shed most of my tears in this role. Who knew a macaroni and paste creation could cause such a sense of pride. Wait until the three year old stops asking if everyone has a penis. That will be a three tear moment.
Poetry is my not so secret passion. I am not terribly great but every now and again I surprise myself and others. Most people in my life don t understand my poetry or my infinite love of monkeys. One of my greatest wishes is to one day become a published author. I seek to learn and laugh and live vicariously through my pen. I require constant supervision.
I work in a building with a few hundred other tired looking people in business casual. I get up at the crack of dawn and get home after the sun is gone. I could safely say, if I were to win the lottery I would not keep my job and I would not re-carpet my family room. I d be so out of here.
This is me in a nutshell. No fancy diplomas or great works of art. Although my eleven year old little girl is definitely as close as it comes. My first friend was imaginary; my last will most likely be too. I began this life in diapers and hope to end it the same way. Although I m not sure I d want to buy a product called Depends . Depends on what if you ask me. I d stick with For Sure or Absolute .
