Afternoon contemplation
Face reverently turned up
Accepting kisses from the sun

Legs idly swinging to and fro
Rhythmically without reason
On the hard wooden bench

And fingers absently tapping
To the lyrics of a favourite song
Before the sudden realization

The only thing missing
From this perfect moment
Is you
