Selfish words came tumbling out
Instead of the never ending abyss

Pushed themselves into this space
Slapped each syllable on your face

And made a truly piss poor case
To explain the sudden irrationality

Of the anger so sorely misplaced
It all came out of that darkness

Emotionally charged anger flew
Untold frustrations quickly grew

And then the moment when I knew
The words were wrong and so was I
