| My second chronological collection, covering the years 1980 to 1985. By this stage of the game, I had clearly moved beyond 'novice', and although had yet to join the public writing community, my work did show steady improvement, maturity and sophistication. Creatively and spiritually, it was a period of intense introspection and branching out, as revealed in the poems themselves, clearly reflective in the title piece and Awakening. In the mid-late 80s, several poems from this collection were published by The World of Poetry, in Sacramento, California, albeit a vanity press.
