Angel by Chris Sorrenti
Spread your wings and fly sweet angel
Escape the place where failure overlooks you
Hugs you to the ground of increativity
Like a magnet with eraser at both ends
Your flight will be as that of a newborn butterfly’s
Bearing a gift to be shared with everyone - willing
A flower unique - ready to blossom
Again and again
For life is but an ever changing photograph
Captured in the aperture of the mind
People's faces - immortal images
Reality and fantasy - two sides to a single drama
Waiting to be filmed in words
So spread your wings and fly sweet angel
Escape that place where failure overlooks you
For you are light as imagination
Only heavy as paper and pen
