I see a friend out on the waves When I pass a Navy Installation I think of you and your many exploits I feel the fullness of life you have lived Let Me say this You have lived a great life You are blessed Steven in many ways you do not even know Always remember You have the gift of Life and Dreams They are very powerful I will always hold you in a place no other can ever get to Life is powerful when you take control, and live it as it is meant to be lived You are my mountain and the shore, my flame and that consumed. In my strength, I have my weakness In my life, I can see my death And it holds no fear for me. You are an eternal flame many years after you have passed on..... you will be remembered because you cared for your men and their lives you cared for people Yes, I will tell my children of you... of a man I knew as my SunDowner. Yes.... My Sun Downer..... but I will elevate you much higher You will have many years of happiness I have been told that In time you will cease to talk to me and you will carve a new beginning and will be consumed with a family My greatest desire is your happiness....
