My name is Fred Moore and I was brought up in the hills and dirt farm area of western Missouri; it was a gathering and settling place for many immigrants and pioneers, and many others from other lands. I am a direct descendant of those adventurous people. I left as a young man and joined the military. I saw a lot of Europe and Asia while falling out of a multitude of airplanes, sneaking thru the woods at night, while painted green.
I've written for many years but the early works were too ribald and raunchy for the public good. I've found that good humor and also remienising are what many people want and need. I do try to provide a little of both and hope that what I feebly scribe gives someone a bit of enjoyment.
And again, thanks for your kind words.

Addendum: For those that have followed the works I have written about that blond haired, blue eyed beauty that captivated my life from about sixteen on: I present Ms. Maudie Curtis AKA Mimi or Emmi. I wrote "She Was" and She Found it on Pathetic. We corresponded about our long lost and buried feelings for each other, and we reunited in mid-October. We completed the journey in " They Never Danced the Dance". Now we have a new life and wonderful adventures ahead. That lovely little confection in the middle is Evan, her first born great-grandson Being back home in Independence, with my unbelievable wonderful new family, is beyond words. I thank so many of you for your words of encouragement as Mimi and I rekindled after fourty five years. God Bless you all......
