Dirty Dishes

by Mary Ellen Smith

The kitchen is messy
The pans all need washed
The silver and china does too.
But I’ll wait till tomorrow
When the load will be lighter…
You see I’m saving them all just for you.

LOL! Unlike Allesandra's interpretation, my immediate thought was that you were waiting for hubby to come home to throw them at, thus why wash them? Hell, I don't know...maybe you had a fight?!?! ;o)

Ha! I wonder how many marriages have broken up over conflicts involving dirty dishes. My wife and I had one just the other day. But we've only been married for 35 years. Fun poem.

Very good Mar. I guess I'm an easy mark. I do them about four times a week or more. For me marriage is a two way street. I even wash the clothes a couple times a week....Charlie
