Soulmummification

by Anne Engelen

Threads of thoughts

No longer cobwebs

But vastly wrapped

Suffocating soulmummification

Cocooned

Dark time transformation

Insufficient breathing room

WAIT…

Feel and learn

LISTEN…

Listen to your dying soul

Universal wisdom

If only…

If only…

you could find the strength to learn and grow

GROW

Break through your cocoonwalls

Free your soul

Be the universe

BE

yes- the en-light-enment that the soul hopes for so dearly when in that space of inner darkness. very well expressed.

Excellent continuation of your depression series Anne. You must publish these someday in a chap book. I'm sure others would benefit, including those living and supporting under similar circumstances.

Threads of thoughts no longer cobwebs but vastly wrapped... oh, this is so descriptive, Anne. Like Arthur, I sense a darkness or helplessness in it... and know that feeling all too well. Very very well said, dear one.

Wow, I love the metaphor of mummification. As if someone feels they CANT do anything about it because they are bound. And then the end... stating they CAN break through. Great message

Yes, BE in order to SEE WHAT IS. SEE in order to BE. ONE within. ONE without. But as you said this needs self to grow. And BEING and growing are complementary, as SEEING and BEING is. When you grow, you attain the capacity to know/see/be and when you know/be/see you attain the capacity to grow. Beautiful Anne.

Moving from knowing to being is no easy transition. Acknowledgement is only the beginning. Your dichotomous poem is however a giant leap forward. I hope the ride is as enjoyable for you as your tales are for us. Peace...

Very truthful expression. That knowledge of nonexistence. Very well put!

no use to wonder Anne, you have indeed broken through and are.
