Reddi -Whip

by Alex Smyth

Saturday mornings
I sleep past eight.
In fuzzy slippers I
Pad to the kitchen
Not combing my hair
Or washing my face.

I do not make coffee, oatmeal or eggs.
Nor pour cereal, milk or orange juice.

With refridgerator door wide open,
I lean back my head, opening my mouth,
I press the nozzel on the Redi Whip can.

As the rich cream fills my senses,
I savor the sweet decadence of my life.

*big grin* Nicely put Alex. One for the 'different strokes for different folks' file. Think I'll stick to my coffee and cigarettes.

lololololol.... Oh my.. .I love it! *grinning ear to ear*.. sounds much like my daughter, who does not have a care for who comes after her, but takes life by both hands and goes for the gusto!

Hi Alex, Just read your poem, a good one. Sounds llike a sweet tooth for Reddi Whip, I know it. Have use it. I like the Cool Whip better. Reddi Whip is good on Banana Splits, sundaes, maybe even hot choc. I like Marshmellows in hot choc, mini ones. Peace & Joy, Jean

... and I thought I was the only one who enjoyed doing that! Great poem with a great beat.
