Everything that used to be

No longer exists

Without feelings

Without emotions

There no longer...IS

Before,

Whenever I wasn’t capable to feel

I still felt something

Either empty or indifferent

Alone or lost

Now,

I can’t even think

All my thoughts come across

This void

Where feelings and thoughts

Get consumed before their consummation

Without feelings nothing’s left of me

Emotionally I’ve died

For this state I’m in what might the reason be?

Is there a point to this, a message I need to see?

All possible answers get sucked into

This black hole of a void

All what’s left is a shadow

Of what used to be me

We are like the stars - We burn brightly, go through periods of change, falling back in upon ourselves, only to explode with a wonderful brightness once again - I have a feeling that in the not too distant future, you will once again give off a beautifully radiant light! - RCat

Hmmm...sounds like your depression still catches up with you from time to time. Come visit me at the South Pole, and we can walk like penguins. Is that a smile I see Anne??? :oD

A relatable feeling, Anne.. Everything will work out in the end.

Have certainly felt like this from time to time but the wonder and beauty of life eventually comes back to shake me from it. A well expressed look into that state of being.

IS is but no longer WHAT IT IS in the absence of positive impressions( vibrations). Impressions, associated with associations, brings in energies which brings the desired change in the mood. The change in the mood in turn refines the energy. In any case, what is needed is positive and beautiful impressions. Besides, moods are never permanant since they depend on the energies provided by the impressions. With the change in the quality of impression the mood is bound to change. Just BE and SEE. BEING and SEEING, in the moment, from moment to moment, in continuity too is capable of bringing this change since this makes you receptive to impressions by detaching you from negative impressions, you are in currently. I wish you all the best.

merely clouds coveting your sun momentarily. There, Anne, a beam peeks through.

A veiled revelation with a course all its own. Although it may seem like reading a roadmap of the mind in the dark, it is the absence of emotions that our true vision is clarified. Good stuff Anne. Peace...

Hmmmmm Is this a definition for degenerative declination? ;) Interesting use of analogy, "black hole".

The image I get from your poem is being lost in the desert of depression. Your poetry is your light. Keep it burning.
