WALKING : Three stances

by Ashok Sharda

1.

He
walks
unaware.

2.

He
walks
aware
of his walking.

3.

He
walks
aware of his awareness
of his walking.

Great observance of the trilogy of meditation awareness, and its challenge perhaps...

The next time I walk, which will be in about 5 minutes, I hope I can do so in the 3rd stance. I know, your poem will make my evening walks around the neighborhood much more meaingful. Great poem, my friend.

I really like the simple form of the poem and the ease with which the reader will understand the transition from one stance to the next. Of course it is clear to see that the third stance is where we should all be. I am beginning to see you were right about nature being our prison...thanks Ashok, as always, for sharing :-)

Neat progression/evolution here.

I would find it difficult to think otherwise, that awareness could do otherwise, but be aware of its own awareness or situation where Creator, creating something, He or She could have no affect on.
