| Posted by Clara Mae Gregory on 09/19/09 at 01:45 PM My younger brother,David(who everybody calls "Grateful Dave"), had a beautiful Irish Setter named Cassidy that looked just like this beautiful lass of a dog!His dog was the smartest, coolest dog I had ever seen.He would be polite in the house as he waited patiently for us to finish family meals at the table.Then he would get his food bowl in his mouth and go around to each person "asking" for left over scraps from the meal. He obeyed David's every command on the spot, first time, as well as respond to me and others.I have no doubts that she will make the finest service dog. |

| Posted by JD Clay on 09/26/09 at 02:27 AM Scheherazade... What a cool name. I fits her perfect and is sure to render some interesting nicknames. I'm partial to bird dogs having bred, trained and showed Golden Retrievers for field trials, obedience and confirmation. Setters are so regal. They are well-tempered and very loving pets. Or should I say family members. I'm happy as a pheasant in the corn. For both of you, EJ. It sounds (and looks) like your well on your way to a superb relationship with your new pup.
