Yesterday I Smiled by Michele SchottelkorbI felt joy
(yesterday)
Insideout
(into today)
It was tangible… real.
I felt joy… my daughters next to me
A small circle of being
Laughter echoing at lightspeed
Into and out of the Cosmos.
I felt joy for more than
A second.
12/12/2021 Author's Note: On 12/11/21, I laughed... And laughed and laughed, for hours, with my daughters, the bestie, and her daughters.
It was glorious. And has not happened since us five sisters were together, many years ago, before our sister's murder.
So this is significant. Because it shows, I can still feel joy.
