I am so tired
of having to choose
between good and great -
After all - God only asked us
to be good not great
It is not for nothing
the Bible is called
the good book - not great
I suppose the latter
is the devil’s work?

How does one figure out if one has advanced beyond good to great - my question for you. ;) My senior class English teacher thought the word "great" was a pretty weak word with vague meaning. Imagine my teen angst when the word that was assigned to me in the yearbook for best description was "Great!". I was crushed. LOL |
