My Own Blair Witch Project by Chris Sorrenti
many times
I’ve delved similar woods
followed paths barely visible
amid slow re-growth
seen those same
mysterious piles of rocks
wondering the who and why
of cottages
long abandoned
felt the stare of someone
something
all too easily shrugged off
to imagination
though not so calm
the implication of
having to remain a guest
of that wilderness
overnight
