| Posted by Glenn Currier on 03/06/18 at 01:56 PM I miss him too and think of him often. Charlie was a friend and colleague at the college where I taught for a looooong time. That's the way he often wrote words with o's in them, soooooooo I'll do the same just to honor him. Charlie had a great sense of humor and when we (he had lots of friends) were with him he would almost always bring a chuckle with his irreverent humor. He was very honest. But the thing I remember most about him was his poetic creativity. When I read his poems I was repeatedly in awe of and humbled by his creativity. Like me he had A.D.D. but oh how he used that gift as a poet! He loved to fool around with language which was putty in his hands. Sooooo, Steve, it was a delight to see your title in the recent poems list. Thanks. |
