Easter Is Each Sunday

by Quentin S Clingerman

The worship service inspires
Resurrection is celebrated
Our Lord is risen indeed

Through the Holy Spirit Christ lives in the heart
A new birth by God's grace and our choice

Sin and death are given a death blow
Resurrection did occur
Death and the grave were overcome
The wine and bread tell us so

Sin no longer has dominion for the transformed life
The Spirit gives witness in the changed way of living
The daily grind is grand in His sight
When Easter is each Sunday daily in ones life

I always like the way you clarify religious events in their traditional terms rather than the commercial, Quentin. I had my son in from out of town this Easter. I would describe it as quality time well spent. I especially like the ring of: Sin and death are given a death blow

we could live this message. if only we permitted ourselves to, if only we had the courage, but more importantly the love to live such a creed every day, then every day would surely be Easter.

A solid message of your faith. I always admire how you present this faith in calm terms without preaching. I also like the idea of faith being an everyday living experience, not just a few days in a calender each year.
