An Easter Meditation
by Leonard M Hawkes
"Father, may the sacrifice
Of Thy First-Born Son
Take from me
The burden of my sins;
And may atonement
Of The Holy One,
Cleanse my life without,
My soul within."
Author's Note: This week's thought while walking at dawn.

Simply beautiful, Leonard. A well worded reminder of the true meaning of Easter, outside of the commercialism that it's come to be known by.

I concur. A soulful ode and prayer.
