plutocracy; tired of it? by Maria Francescapoor
live
under
tyranical,
outrageous
conditions;
rich
are
collecting
yachts.
America's
re-wired
economy
yields
overwhelming
underemployment.
tolerate
it -
rest
easy -
deluded
or
fight
it. 09/02/2013 Author's Note: if only the wealthy can afford to run for office, are we really a democratic republic or should we just admit that we are a plutocracy?

Posted by George Hoerner on 09/03/13 at 02:53 AM I do believe you are correct lady. And in those states where those elected are not rich, they are controled by those who are. Regardless of educated we think we are, few of us understand the reality of politics in this country$$$$$$$$$$ |

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 09/04/13 at 12:07 AM I've often thought this of the United States. And those Presidents who don't toe the line and try to change things end up assasinated. |
Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 09/04/13 at 12:46 PM its always better to tell it like it is, as does this ode. I never cared much for yachts but have always held a fondness for wee boats that staked some poor fisherman a livelihood. wee boats sanctify waters, yachts, despoil. |
