TDL

by George Hoerner

up in the morning
and water the dogs
pour the coffee
and take a sip
oh yes, the pills
a bite to eat
turn on the PC
check the accounts
pay some bills
look at the email
nothing but ads
take a deep breath
what to do next
why not do
what i want to
skip the rest
put my lips to yours
let tongues play
with emotions till
lunch time

A little morning delight never does a couple wrong. Cute, playful, and intelligently expressed.

Habit mixed with spontaneity - I like! Thanks, George.

I'm with you my friend, it seems to me that everything pales in comparison to lips making their presence felt on other lips. As much as I love coffee, I'd rather I was sipping her lips, morn, noon and eve, lips which possess the sort of punch and pick me up ( tiramisu! ) caffeine cannot even imagine.

Yeh, I guess that's something no list should need to cater for
morning glory tells a story...
