Three Words Each by Kristina Woodhillthree baskets
each
holding
three words
each
three mute
men
three mute
men
each mute
man
one basket
in hand,
each mute
man
thinks
a
mute
man
plan
one man
gobbles
three words
down
fast,
screams
"LOOK - AT - ME!"
words
fade,
his
last
three mute
men
three mute
men,
doodle-doodle-dumb,
tongues
tied in a pen
one man
tears
three words
into parts,
plays
anagrams
awhile,
then sings
them
to
the dark
each word
sung
pricks
a comet's
tale end,
sucked into
a black hole,
never
ever
heard
again
three mute
men
three mute
men,
criddle-craddle-crow,
black maw
caves in
one man's
mouth
shoots
a great wad
of spittle,
rubbed hands
hum,
honed
knife
starts
to
whittle
three
cuts
six
cuts
twelve
cuts
pi,
man
eats
a piece,
shaved
words
begin
to fly
i can speak!
i can cry!
i can yell!
i can sing!
now
listen
to
my tale
of
the
two
mute
men

Posted by George Hoerner on 03/02/10 at 08:23 PM Excellent tale told to the world and carried via the inet to hither and yon. Who knows how it may change a world that needs it so badly.
Posted by Beth K Hannah on 03/02/10 at 08:49 PM this was so fun! and different! thank you
Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 03/03/10 at 07:37 PM Like true folk-art, this type of poetic art carries on the stuff of such wonderful oral tradition. The memory is in the fun of it, the repetition of it. Much enjoyed. Thanks.
Posted by Glenn Currier on 03/10/10 at 12:34 AM Nice to see you venture "out of your system." Fun result that kept happily falling down the wordfall for more.
