Night Sky by Vrinda AgrawalTake the night sky in my hands and squeeze the darkness out of it,
Hear it scream with pain, see my hands stained with its blood.
The stars detach themselves from the sky and fall to the ground,
The moon, once out of reach, now lies at my feet crying in the mud.

Posted by George Hoerner on 11/23/08 at 09:25 PM WOW! That must hurt! But who? You or the sky? The sky will be back tomorrow night and will squeeze it again? Is it the dark or lonliness that you try to squeeze from the night? |
