this moment in time by Melissa Arelthis moment in time
is where i want to be
amongst the trees and the leaves
listening to them breathe;
watching them sway and dance, i see
them bend forward to a breeze
ever so graciously.
strong and proud yet gentle and kind
i am theirs and they are mine.

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 09/16/07 at 05:31 PM I see some of myself in this poem, as I too love to watch trees sway back and forth in the wind with a life of their own. :o) |
