Posted by A. Paige White on 05/19/07 at 01:33 AM This was wonderful Laura! The title got my laughter going and your lyrical spherical verses kept my giggles in time with your rhyme. Love it! |
Posted by Morgan D Hafele on 05/19/07 at 01:43 AM hahaha, i think the funniest part is that i'm trying right now not to eat a poet... i think that sort of makes sense right? this piece is fantastical! |
Posted by Rhiannon Jones on 05/19/07 at 10:57 AM Fantastic!!! I've wanted to write a poem with "pseudonymph" in it...you beat me to it. I really enjoyed your semantics and rhyme. |
Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 05/19/07 at 02:30 PM This is a fine romp from title to the munchies at the end!!! I love the beat, the laughing at oneself, the fantasy of it all!! Well done! |
Posted by Maria Terezia Ferencz on 05/20/07 at 07:27 PM I would love to see this done out loud on a poetry jam!! What a write! |

I want to see this done out loud, too. |
Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 05/24/07 at 10:56 AM it tickles the bones of my fancy to imagine a fantastical poet being eaten who was not particularly fond or aware of its being on the menu and then with the order finding itself on the plate, then on the palate and then and then .............
this poem pounds the beat like Moliere, who would be proud to have assembled this fine feasting of words onto our palate, the fine lineage and vintage of which it is advisable we all take to our hearts and munch.

Posted by Max Bouillet on 01/22/08 at 01:10 AM I wouldn't worry about this poet's fate.
This poet will arrive even if a bit late.
For the persona you created so impromptu
you'll find sometime later all covered in poo.
Ask not for whom the bowl flushes...
it flushes for you.
Sorry for my childish humor! |
