bónn journée

by Elizabeth Jill

Every now and then the sun shines on a dark corner and the moon escapes with your life.

Every now and then

the sun shines on a dark corner

and the moon escapes

with your life.

Like night and day the changes happen seemingly gradually but more in a flash, so fragile so magical so sudden the eye cannot catch the feeling, the heart cannot skip a beat, try not to blink... keep breathing... the spark of life happens in the gap... you've made one here.

Jill, you are so incredibly talented. I wish you could teach me how to do things like this. Yes, the moon brightens the dark corners of my life, just as you say. Let her escape with my life, since I feel sister to the moon. In your own way, you brighten others' lives with your starshine. Shine on. Bless you.

Not only is this talented as a work of art but the words say much. You say it best when you say nothing at all!

...elizabeth, this pome sucks.......the very meaning out of life itself...so issa, so soto, so cisneros, so langston hughes, so francisco goldman...melady, this is a pome that not only walks, it struts...wished i'd penned it...wonderful!!!...peace, chaz

sometimes I wish it would. the moon I mean, abscond with my life or rather add whatever ever is brilling in me to its own. and it goes without saying, this poem beams.

This is simply a beautiful bit even without all the special effects...
