A Thought Process

by Alisa Js

A thought blows by and hesitates
Ponders for a bit,
Is there a place I need to be
Within this silent viewing
Of images perceived ...

Or do I continue on my path
Up and around
These cerebral trails,
Where to stop and linger
How to know for sure
Unless first drawn
By that magnetic charge
Doomed to wander
aimlessly ...

Without a place to give me purpose
Inside this land
of endless possibilities ..

Alisa, oh yes, where to stop and ponder? Wandering aimlessly in one's own mind is something I do a lot of lately. :) Yet the thought of knowing their are endless possibilities keeps us going, yes? If I ever learned how to split atoms like a chunk of wood, I'd have it made. Yet, my mind wanders ... then lingers for a bit ... then looks for more. Great poem. peace and love ...

An intersting perspective and topic, put in the mouth of a thought. That is a thought talking, I say to myself. Trying to find a way of connecting to "images percieved". They do not always come paired, the mind wandering its own way as the world goes by...ah, but the "magnetic charge" that really satisfies and ignites meaning.

Worthy description of the creative process. Many possible routes to take, while at the same time following one's heart.

A word I use a lot in my own writing - ponder. It says more than to think, don't you think? Another great one Alisa and now in my favorites!
