Wind whispers

by Tony Young

I watched his lips
and read the mime,
your name this time
whispered gently
through your hair
running, laughing
not a care.

he then whispered
through your dress
watched you twirl
with hands in air
he kissed you
every where
caressed
your shoulders
bare

he turned toward
the colours
falling
through the trees
again I read the mime
he whispered
please
play with me
again sometime

This piece is beautiful and very vivid. I loved the picture you painted of the wind. I also really liked the personification of WIND- excellent write and very enjoyable read.

Such a gentle touch to this one - soft as a whisper. Nice!

Hi Tony, It's lovely. It has it's own beauty within. The wind sure can stir up alot of things. :)

Beautiful poem which is beautifully written, Tony. The last stanza made me smile, and I felt the wind's kiss on my own bare shoulders. :)

Excellent poetics...expression! A wonderful seasonal twirl and extended metaphor to be sure. Wish I had written this...glad you did!

this piece is so delicate, I want to wrap it in a lace hankerchief and tuck it away somewhere, hidden. I do like the rep. of "whispered" in all three stanzas-- this is very effective. And the rhyme is interesting-- I particularly like your use of slant rhyme. nice.

I love the wind, for it caresses, without judgment, both the lovely and unlovely. All that is required is to show up when it's whispering. Beautiful imagery here.

Simply Lovely. I'm a little late but congrats on your POTD.
