Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 08/20/06 at 07:01 PM Hi Kristina. Love this because, gratitude is something of which none of us can give too much. I think it's on the smiles, the thanks we give, our little gestures of appreciation, that our neighbors, friends and especially our children, build up their philosophy of life. Thanks. |

Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 11/21/07 at 04:07 PM I love the wild abandon of the first three lines, the deep inhale of life and sensation. Then the drawing into a quietness, which I like to think has multiple interpretations, but the basic thanks and joy taken in existence and feeling is what stands out or comes to "bended knees" for me. |
Posted by Glenn Currier on 10/04/09 at 05:40 AM It's a good poem too. I like this simple reflection of daily experience and the budding gratitude lovely as a flowing creek. |
