| Posted by Julie Adams on 06/13/06 at 06:05 PM this poem is a wonderful array of white lights, twinkling in the poetics you create here...lovely images, my favs: "The dazzling white of Spanish stucco/ in the blazing sun" AND "he crisp snapping in the breeze white of bedsheets on the line"--this line makes me think of putting clothes out when I was in England...the ending is fabulous too tho, well done my friend |
| Posted by Michelle Angelini on 06/13/06 at 06:20 PM Beautiful imagery Heide! White has so many associations and colors within it - never purely just white. It appears some wonderful poetry is written in moments of distraction, when a minds seeks to fill in blank spaces.
