Boarding On A Groove by Charles E MinshallDigby jumped upon a skateboard
And sped right down the hill,
Then the stop sign at the corner
Almost got a kill.
Stop! The sign said
Well, Digby did stop,
The post gave him a groove
From his belly to his top.
The doctors say given time
That he might improve,
But both sides meet in the middle
Digby's really on a groove.

Posted by Michelle Angelini on 02/23/07 at 02:54 AM Charlie, I like the way you take a seemingly serious subject and inject humor. It helps me to see the other side of things and is a reminder not to take life so seriously. ;-)
