holy unhaiku

by Elizabeth Jill

(-ku parentheses)
poem wandering - in drifts
holy unhaiku
split infinitive
feathers fly, fast gathering
emphasis is míen

rivers runalong
sunbathing under eons,
empathy's comma
Abbreviate. Then
sin. Fully. Then deny't.
wds r shameless crooks.
Writ in warning: pens
form spiraling mosaic
haiku sinning spree

This is like taking tiny bites of thoughts, wisdom... one concept at a time. Holy Unhaiku... it makes for a Holy Feast.

Jill, this is incredible! So totally different from what I've ever seen in my years of reading poetry. Echoing what Jon and Mara already said.

"Abbreviate. Then sin. Fully. Then deny't. wds r shameless crooks." Yes, shameless ... absolutely shameless. You always see the bigger picture, my friend. You always do. I love ya for that.

You swirl the form into a delight for the eyes and ears and the haikulover in me. Clever spacing and un-ing.

you quilly, jilly, has me spiraling on my cone like vanilla swirl. your odes have taken hold, on them I am completely sold and one taste of such is to negate all the sour tastes and notes I've ever noticed taking hold in my cochlea and palate.
