A Small Part

by Charles E Minshall

Love is communication
In a wordless still,
A glance a touch,
A kisses' thrill.

A small part
Of what love's about,
I love you
That's how I found out.

You are with me
Everywhere,
I close my eyes
And you are there.

A small part
Of what love's about,
I love you
That's how I found out.

I think of you
Night and day,
When I'm at work
Or I'm at play.

A small part
Of what love's about,
I love you
Thats how I found out.

I love your voice
on the telephone,
But love it better
Live at home.

A small part
Of what love's about,
I love you
That's how I found out.

I love your eyes,
I love your smile,
I love everything about you
I love your style.

All small parts
Of what love's about,
I do love you
That's how I found out.

Yes, its a world inside this common world we all share, wordless, pulsating with life and beauty.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, and now we know that besides being a great humorist you are also a great romantic! Lovely and sweet! The kind of poem that every woman wishes was written about her!

Romantic little romp that stirs nostalgic memories of youth and dating. Great read.

What lover, one time or current can't shine to this warm, positive message. Kudos monsieur!

Wow! This brought tears to my eyes, its tenderness and commitment, its grounding in the reality of two hearts finding love in the everydayness of life. Beautiful, Chaz.
