a primer on how to mislead the stars

by Tom Goss

take 1 part dessicated heart petals,
stained with blood of human yearning

mix with 2 parts fossilized true love

shake for half as long as all the times
you've wept Things into words

then swallow

Tom, I've never read your poetry before, but I'll start looking for it now. This is so incredible. Yes, sometimes sad memories are a bitter drink to swallow. Good Work!

Cool title, catchey formula, great medicine. Good luck with the FDA! I like your style, Tom. Congratulations on becoming the philosophical Poet Of The Day.

so, i didn't read this as a potd. i came to this folder because the title is so good and intriguing and this title, in particular, was also very surprising and enviable, if i might say. i like this a lot. it was worth the read.
