stirring the pot (limerick)
by Michele Schottelkorb
there once was a writer who knew
how to tick off a poet or two
with a flick of the wrist
well, you get the gist
what a cynical tactless old shrew
Author's Note: i'm evil... at least i finally added my limerick to the fray, so there *grin*

a limerick extraordinaire you are Michele, and it just occured to me, that to perturb one, would the tick not have to be put on, and not off? would not the one being tortured, be relieved with the tick being off? just a thought dear Michele.

Oh, is my imagination reeling! Who COULD she be talking about? The first one to came to mind is old (please don't tell her I used that word) Red. Clever and delightful. You have inspired me to return to limey country.

well, thank her for becoming a cause for this creation.Thank her for providing you an oppurtunity to test your tolerance level. Thank her that she remained just a nobody before and after the creation of this piece. In any case, a nobody is just a nobody like any person on the 32nd street you have never met nor seen.

Great title, great form, and a cogent message that seems to fill the bill under current conditions. Nice work, Michelle.
