Posted by Maureen Glaude on 03/25/04 at 09:34 PM cells having memory, such an impact. Beautiful. |
Posted by Mara Meade on 03/25/04 at 10:33 PM mmmm... the use of the words "cells"... minute but still life-building. And that they would remember the truth of the legend, not the other way around. Hmmm, Miss Anne. You've got me nailed to the wall with this one. incredible. |
Posted by Kara Hayostek on 03/25/04 at 10:57 PM Interesting poem, I dont see this as a relationship (though it could be) but as something different. |
Posted by Graeme Fielden on 03/25/04 at 11:24 PM A deep & introspective poem Anne. Hidden meanings, and sufficiently cryptic to make the reader think..."Was she talking the situation I've been through?" ...nice work! ;)

Posted by Ashok Sharda on 03/27/04 at 02:13 PM This sounds like burying some thing deep. Like the legendry myth of the Atlantis. The colors confirms this burial. And this is a positive sign. |
Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 03/27/04 at 03:18 PM The truth of this legend is truly profound. |
Posted by Quinlan L Gibson on 03/27/04 at 05:03 PM beautiful depth in this Anne...perfect color touch as well. Nice job. |
Posted by Rula Shin on 03/29/04 at 01:51 AM The color change works beautifully. The sinking and burial of a legend...from the light waters deep down to the lightless. "Now Only my cells remember The truth" - if only there were a translator in our midst. Very insightful piece and meaningfully beautiful to look at as well.

Posted by Glenn Currier on 03/29/04 at 02:18 AM I marvel at how you so artfully fathom the core of your being. In these two latest poems you connect yourself and US with the Earth and our speciestory... |

Posted by JD Clay on 04/04/04 at 08:00 PM I visit Lemuria from time to time. There, they speak of Atlantis never having been lost. I'll tell them you said, hello. Much like Alantians, your beautiful poem resonates on a higher plane.
