I failed to assemble the poem which was here

by Ashok Sharda

It was here just now

And now, its not.

I experienced it in bits

But missed the whole sequence

The order in which

I should have arranged it

        In to.

Creation is an order

In the chaotic world of

        Thoughts and vibrations

One will have to assemble

OneÂ’s selves

To assemble

The chaos into creation

It is here, just now

And I am not.

Well this resonates with me because I dream of being in my 'writing place' right when those sequences happen deep in my thoughts... it is hard to retrace the steps & regather the pieces if you have to come back to it

how amazing, a non-poem that scores well as a poem. Ingenious.

maybe you are the poem... oh yes, and there is no spoon :)... blessings...

So many times I get that fleeting conciousness, that feeling of "I almost know what that was I just thought", but then it is gone. This seems a bit whimsical, very nicely expressed!

To hold on to one's self when chaos is everywhere is most dfficult indeed, even for the most pure and simplest of intentions. Oh, I understand this fleeting glimpse into that could be, what is intended...

Very good Ashok. A new favorite of mine of yours!

This leads me to believe that it takes the hand of God to create and that we may lose our individuality as we meld with our creator, during the creative process…an interesting thought indeed! Heheh…you keep us thinking Ashok :)

First stanza, last stanza..wonderful. The middle of your piece is sublime.

As Jeff Goldblum says in Jurassic Park, “life will find a way” hahahah - once Nature organizes ITS scattered selves within to counteract the chaotic vibrations an aware active human being causes. Question: If I write a ‘lousy’ poem based only on 'glimpses' of the meaningful poem, have I created something still, selves scattered? “It was here…and now, its not…it is here…now…and I am not,” both always ‘here’ on different planes - the irony of this existence. The intersection of these planes is the destination, the creation, the completion of life, the ordering of chaos, experiencing the ‘whole sequence’ - and you have given a way to get there, “one will have to assemble one’s selves to assemble…chaos into creation.” Though one can come to pass through this intersection by dumb luck as well. Brilliantly assembled :-)

It is in the Creator's image, I think, that we attempt to make order out of chaos. An Ashok ending to this poem, definitely. Often a bit (sometimes a lot) of selfabnegation in your poetry. At least selfeffacement. Thought-provoking as always as well.

Oh, man, can I relate. I began a poem and it got lost when another more urgent one intruded in. I love the way you see your self (coming and going) in your poetbeing.

Wonderful... really wonderful!

The will to impose order on chaos :> It's a challenge to undertake an arrangement of these pieces to achieve an appearance which feels 'natural'...

This poem is proof that you were here and I believe you to still be here at least you have been very recently as I have seen other rather recent 'posts' on this site. So much of what we 'believe' is here only because we believe it or show it. Hope all is well!
