"The wounded egos will regulate...[and] substitute the problem" - yes I see. The problem it seems to me was never meant to be resolved by A and B. The problem changed to one of hurt egos as your illustrations so cleary point out. As you said they now have an 'itch' to continue a fruitless debate that will never allow them to see 'WHAT IS' - the problems are A and B's REACTIONS to each other's wounded egos and not the problem of their common interest. How's that? :-)

just when i thought your genius had reached an apex, you bring this out, with examples, no less... ashok, your gifted mind has presented a dilemma many face and a reality that somethings never change... however, with introspection and realization, my hope is that your brilliant display becomes the minority... you are amazing... thank you for yet another lesson... blessings...

I hate when this happens, and it does. So true.

Speaking for Mr C...why doesn't anyone ever care what Mr C thinks!! *STOMP* *STOMP*!!! ;P An insightful truism Ashok. Thanks for sharing :)

Colorful way of bringing out the deeper essence of an idea and a problem! Kudos!

Isn't this the truth? The problem is still the problem, unresolved, and now there are new layers to it. I can only say "amen."

This made me rethink something I am arguing about currently... I said "Why do I not want to be wrong?" and it is because my ego does not want me to. It is time to prick it with a pin

Very well done... its like scientific poetry... I dug it ;)

This is what the educational system should teach to children. The ego enlarges to the point where they overlook the initial problem and may lead to forgetting the problem initially argued about altogether. Great wisdom, Ashok.

ego is a devil's advocate..nice and eye opening.

Hopefully, this graphic portrayal of the being in defense of the self, and the exposure of the ego controlled my the human mind, will serve as a lesson to all that it can be mastered through awareness. Pe4ce...

Funtastic Ashok....Charlie

Ashok, you've really jazzed this one up! You are getting right to the core of 'the problem', this reminds me of my futile attempts to explain to my arguing parents that their points were essentially the same even if their words disagreed, if they could only just stop BARKING at each other for a second. Your mind has taken the fine carving knife to the situation, a businessman's mind almost (because of the kind of flow chart analysis), and really spelled it out. I LOVE this poem, and agree with your message. It all comes down to assertion of ego. ugh.

How easy it is to loose track of the essence of a conflict when egos predominate, each attempting to define reality in a way that is ostensibly "favorable" to their view. They do not realize that losing track of the deeper need means they have lost the link to their common humanity. Very thought provoking and visually stimulating... bravo for the poem and all the effort that went into its presentation.

what's left to say on this...it's just cool, I guess. ;)

Hi Ashok, A very good piece or works. And clever, I like the way ya did it. Guess that's what happens when they let their egos get the best of them. Problems never solved. Ya got everyone going on this one.
