A Santa Tale

Was fraught with problems,
Beset we believe
By very mean goblins.
When he landed on our roof
His sleigh went through,
Along with his reindeer
And some reindeer doo.
The pounding of hoof beats
Brought on disaster,
Our ceilings below
Lost most of their plaster.
Santa fell off the roof
Fanny first in a bush,
Oh! the screaming he did
From the thorns in his tush.
Santas sleigh was wedged
In the hole that it made,
To get his sleigh out
Took a crane and a spade.
Frustrated now is Santa
It's hard to drive his sleigh,
When he has to stand up
The rest of the way.
Somewhere near daylight
He might finally arrive,
He should reach your house
Along about five.

Still quite a fun read indeed. |
