A Little Lamb

by Charles E Minshall

Larry had a little lamb,
He had it medium rare.
He ate and ate, and ate and ate,
Until his plate was bare.

Now Mary has no little lamb
With fleece as white as snow,
The little lamb's with Larry
Wherever he may go.

Now there is a grim fairy tale. Hehehe! Coming from you, I know it is all humor based but Mary is sure to need therapy. Good stuff, pal. Peace...

LOL, funny stuff...a tad sick, but still funny. LOL

Oh Boo Hoo! This is a darker side of you that we haven't seen Charles! Just Kidding! As usual you bring the unusual to the usual...that little twist that you do so well...and you keep us smiling!

And that, dear friends, is why we do not name our farm animals:o)

LOL!! Poor lamb, poor Mary, poor Larry (who must have overindulged terribly)! Clever take on Mary's little lamb!

hahaha...too funny indeed.

Ack! Poor little lamb! It was so young!

OMG! Dark humor at its best!!! Not surprising I can relate to both Mary and Larry. I take it then that Larry isn't a vegetarian??? ;o)

I could just see Larry licking his chops while looking over his shoulder at Mary searching for her poor lost lamb!

*laughing soooooo hard*..... I am so glad I found this.... I would sure have hated to miss it. What a twist you put on Mary's lamb, WELL DONE~!

Tsk, poor Mary, but Larry sure did have a nice dinner. Very amusing. ;)

great job. We were just working on this style, a la Billy Collins, in our poetry class recently. It comes easily to you.

I am trying to decide if this is a vegetarian's manifesto or just Charlie reaching into his napsack and retrieving a wiggling pound of clever. Thanks for a good laugh.

Witty and palatable! Great read.
