(Your) Meaningfully devoid poetry by Rommel CruzI wonder, are your poems really
a shimmering portal to a mysterious world
of unexplored sensual desires, triumps and hidden aspirations
littered with decaying angst, unrequited love and crippling deceit;
a beacon of hope, acceptance and appreciation
in the blinding darkness engulfing your weary soul;
or are your enlightening, enchanting, thought-provoking literary masterpieces
possesed with even a grain of thought, depth and meaning at all? 04/25/2003 Author's Note: forgive me, this is my first "artistic expression" in more than 4 months.
feel free to comment. you can choose from the above-lines if you like. LOL

Posted by Lisa-Dawn Sparling on 04/29/03 at 04:55 AM There are so many different kinds of poets...and artists. Ones that write from the soul, some write like its a mathmatical formula, etc.... hard to tell sometimes what poems are for show, which poems are a window into the soul....either way they are a form of ones art I suppose (see there you go...got me a phylisophical from yours!!:) ) |
Posted by Lisa-Dawn Sparling on 04/29/03 at 04:57 AM sorry I meant to say got me all philosophical - oops |
Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 04/30/03 at 01:19 AM Just as someone once created the 'found' poem. Rommel, I think you've just created the 'found' comment. Aside from that, I won't dip my spoon into this can of pandoran worms, suffice to say I admire your brass cahonies for assembling and posting it. Welcome back. :o) |
