Day Dreams

by JD Clay

I raced across the glen
and burst through the door
a tear in my eye

mother shook her finger
look at your pants young man
pointing at my knees

rainbows I pleaded

rainbows she questioned

I tripped on the purple and
landed in the green

nothing removes stains
like a mothers love

Good poem of the day... refreshes the whole site with the light of our jadi. Way to go my man! Knowing you, I was also thinking of other meanings and ways that stain may have gotten there, but then there would be no tear and mom would not be involved. See what you do to me!

mothers, and pens and paper what would poets do without them and the occasional mud puddle? Nice work, Jadi.

this is beautiful... what a true sentiment... and to speak of with rainbows is divine... blessings :)
