she rains a white storm

by Glenn Currier

she rains a white storm
calls a prayer
to walk in her glow,
wear her gleaming halo,
breathe the freshness
in her roaring surf,
wrap me in her sarong -
windswept, swirling along ,
reaching for the poles
of angst and loneliness,
caressing the milky way
of Light between them
tucked safely away within me.

she rains a white storm
into my soul
sets me free of fallow
beckons me
merge and voyage with her.

hello moon

A very peaceful and reassuring read on a Friday lunch break. :o)

Definitely one of the most creative poems I've read recently about the moon and its influence on our lives. Just marvelous.
