Not So Surprising Comment by Chris Sorrenti
Can’t remember the group, but came across an interesting, disturbing, yet not so surprising comment on Facebook, from a man who said the reason he wasn’t married was because he hated people.
At first, I was taken aback, and yet realized who among us hasn’t at one point or another hated someone else? And like-wise been hated.
We come into this world alone, and leave it, alone, with lots of other people in-between. Towards the end, we are lucky to have at least one close friend, and also lucky, still have family and relatives we can speak to.
I guess the key is being able to learn from our mistakes and transgressions, so as not to repeat them, forgive those who have trespassed against us, though we may never forget, hoping that the same sentiment will be returned. Although obviously, some things will never be forgiven.
And if we can get through this life, without killing anyone, including ourselves, then that will certainly work in our favor.

Funny how hatred kept him from a happiness he may have attained had he had married a person who could show him love, including the love, the self love he annihilated within himself. What besides marriage does hatred prevent one from doing, I wonder? |
