Thanksgiving 2022 by Chris Sorrenti
Thirty bucks for a ten-pound turkey?
Jason opts to make his famous spaghetti
Complete with over toasted baguette a la garlic butter
Diet cola with lots of ice
Besides the money is spent on better things
A quarter of sativa to toast October while it lasts
For who knows what November brings
Financial storm or mere hiccup?
As with the spaghetti
The toppings are up to us

Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 10/09/22 at 08:45 PM Yes! I just realized our gallon of orange juice went up $2 in recent months. Good lord!!! I admit spaghetti sounds like a great alternative. Thanks, Chris. |
Posted by Patricia J Reed on 10/10/22 at 04:18 AM This is such a great window into today's climate. And I agree, sativa (or for me - indica) is a must!
Also, since we can't send messages - I just wanted to say thank you for all your kind words over the years! |
