Stage 3 starts tomorrow in Ontario; i.e. pretty well everything will be open,
with social distancing foremost in minds and planning.

Inside, the masks can come off, whether it be restaurants or fitness gyms.
I’m just wondering how many people will rush out to these venues. Not me,
until I see how it all works out. Continuing flattening of the curve or second wave?

The new buzz word is “bubble.” Tiny bubbles. LOL Stay in your bubbles,
and don’t let them make contact with other bubbles.

Parents are furious, and understandably exhausted…stressed out,
over the school situation in September; in Canada and the U.S.
Looks like we’re heading back to a five-day classroom week, as for many,
the home learning experiment has turned into a disaster. Kids of all ages,
are equally depressed.

Meanwhile, on the home front, in the middle of a heat wave, in the middle of a
pandemic, my fridge/freezer broke down yesterday morning.
There’s a new company in town, online, called Jiffy, who pair up professionals
with whatever a person needs done around the house. Got an appliance repair
guy coming over tomorrow afternoon. Meanwhile, J and I are eating up whatever
we can before it goes bad. What else can one do?

A lot of talk about a vaccine in the press these days. We all knowing now
that none of us will be completely safe, until one is found.
The labs are trying to perform a miracle. Normally, something that would have
taken years, is being rushed forward into months, and in some cases, even weeks.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

I hope your Stage 3 goes OK. Not going so well here. Our county is the hot spot of the state at the moment. Talked to sister in law in Oregon whose heat pump broke and well went dry due to a leak in some pipe - reminds me of your freezer/fridge. When it rains, expect a flood seems to be a reasonable mantra right now. Take care of that bubble! :)
