Garden Party by Kristina WoodhillYou could see
young cat and bee
had just met
at Dan D Lion's bright,
inviting garden party
What's not to love,
grinned Dan D slyly,
about new neighbors
brushing up against
one another
Exchanging the local buzz,
bringing some action Dan D's
sedentary way
So what if one leaves
with obvious yellow sticky legs,
the other with his feline stung tongue
hanging out from overstepping
his own eager advances

Posted by Laura Doom on 05/08/20 at 01:59 PM I can taste this, served in a buttercup, fresh as a daisy. (In retrospect of course, having weed]. |
