Ad Nauseam

by Chris Sorrenti

We’re all in this together

Seriously?
I’m going to throw up
If I hear that slogan one more time

And what is with these car commercials???

We’ll be there for you
When you need us
Built for right now

Dammit all!!!
Toyota...Ford and all the rest of you
Do you not realize people are dying...alone?
In ICUs and nursing homes
Without being able to say goodbye to their loved ones
When all you can think about is your bottom lines

And
Don’t forget to wash your hands
Practice social distancing

Thank-you
Dr. Theresa Tam
(Canadian equivalent of Dr. Fauci for all you Americans)

I swear to God if I hear you say that one more time
I’m going to break into your next news conference
Announce that my hands are unwashed
Rush the stage
Wrap my arms around you
And plant a big sloppy wet kiss on those Asian lips of yours
Billy clubs and tasers me to death
It won’t be a moment too soon!!!

I'd say this is a pretty good rant, Chris.

...thanks for that...the frustration is real...hard to adjust to some of the "new normal" going on...
