Night Blooms

by Chris Sorrenti

photo Night Flowers by Chris Sorrenti a RED70.jpg

from dusk to dawn
these adoptees
take on different
meaning
vibration
in a lower light
when most who’d
admire them
rest on roots
for sunrise

yet without
conversation
they speak
of evolution
most subtle
sublime
in volume
immeasurable
but to artist also
unable to sleep
captured
captivated
bloomer of a
different growing
variety

Chris, so beautifully done. I admire your artistic gifts of poetry, photography, and website creativity. I love the way this gentle poem speaks growth both internal and external. You are most definitely a bloomer of a different growing variety.
