The maple makes its glory complete
with such elegance and grace
halo shadow of crimson and gold at its feet
wet fall day a shimmering sacred space.

As a Canadian, makes great syrup also. And as a life long tree lover, enjoy the glory of this poem. Well done, Glenn. Although at different sides of the country, great to see that Canadian influence seeping into your poetry.
